Cell Phones and Devices
We understand that many of our students have cell phones and or personal devices. They can be a useful tool at school however the district has specific polices we are required to follow. Please ensure that you have filled out and submitted the appropriate permission form that allows your child to bring their personal device to school.
Each morning students are expected to put their devices into a bin that will be locked in the teacher cupboard for the day. Devices are not allowed outside during recess and lunch. Your child can access their device if they wish to use it for an assignment during school hours. Devices can only be used under direct teacher supervision. Students should not be texting, streaming videos or making personal calls without teacher permission. If students are caught using their device without teacher supervision, the device will be confiscated for the remainder of the day. If the problems continues, a parent will be contacted to collect the device.
