In Heath Education, the students were given a problem based learning project around the topic of growth mindset. Students were put into small groups and assigned another class to which they would teach a lesson about growth mindset. Groups developed a survey which they administered to their class. They then sat down with their groups to look over the data. With the information they collected, they had to determine where their class needed the most support surrounding growth mindset. It took A LOT of planning, organizing and team work to pull off this project, and we are proud of all our students' efforts. It was NOT an easy task. We have already heard back from many of the classroom teacher who said that they were impressed by the presentations. They noticed that our students handled themselves like mature and responsible 5th graders! What a great compliment!
To top off our learning surrounding growth mindset, the students of division 5 have put to use their own growth mindset in a very challenging art project. We have started a beading project that will continue after spring break. It is a project that requires, patience and perseverance and some serious fine motor skills. We can't wait to see the finished products!

- Some students became frustrate when things didn't work out.
